About the Musicians...

Julie has played the violin since age 8.  She played in the Windward Symphony Orchestra, Spring Hill Orchestra, Nashville Philharmonic and Nashville Praise Symphony at various times.  Currently she is a member of the Brentwood Baptist Orchestra and has appeared in two music video quartets and recorded orchestra CD's in both Brentwood Baptist Orchestra and the Nashville Praise Symphony. Julie organized and played in groups twice with Maestro Paul Johnian for the invitation-only Bachanalia event at Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville and the Regions Day of Music event at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.  She created String Songs Music and currently plays for weddings and events with other music colleagues.

Ashley Barnett is a private violin and piano teacher and wedding and special event musician from Columbia, TN. She has been playing the violin for 30 years and was taught the Suzuki method for 13 years by Peggy Kuhn of TN. She is a 2007 graduate of Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with an emphasis in violin. During college, she studied under Kasia Dolinska.

Ashley has been teaching private music lessons since 2008 and has been performing for weddings and other special events since high school. She was a faculty member for the Middle Tennessee String Orchestra Camp for two years and performed with the Spring Hill orchestra for two years.

Emily Walden of Spring Hill grew up in Orient, New York, playing violin since the age of three-and-a-half. She moved to Tennessee in 2014 after graduating from Syracuse University's Setnor School of Music. Emily earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Industry with Viola Performance Honors and was awarded the Setnor School of Music's Music Industry Award upon graduation. She can now be seen playing violin or viola in the Spring Hill Orchestra and at weddings and events with other musicians.
